A nice introduction to the Ha Long Bay Cruise tours, area although on the 2 half days/1 night cruise, you really don’t go very far. We had the VIP room and it was lovely to wake in the morning looking out at the scenery.
Meals were buffet style, plentiful, and generally offered something for everyone. I recommend taking your own preferred white wine though as the two options offered were terrible!
Not a lot to occupy small children on a boat so do take toys/books whatever they enjoy sitting and playing with. There was a high chair available for a small baby.
60 other cruises departed on the same day as us and at times it got crowded and you moor nearby others. However, for the night mooring, we were further away from other boats than at lunch.
Interestingly the boats were all approached by locals in smaller traditional boats selling various items such as soft drinks and this didn’t seem to be discouraged.
Please check with the cruise operator regarding disabled access as I didn’t see any and accommodation is on other levels.
